Johnathan Ace Private Investigator
Ok, this comic book was my final project in my junior year cartooning class of high school. Requisite was for it to be exactly 10 pages long (bummer!). Had some fun with it anyway, took me about 2 weeks to complete. Not the greatest artwork I've ever done, but certainly a kick in the pants for another comic inspiriration, Intergalactic Police. (See the Online IGP issue...hmmm.) The first issue of which was done the following year, as a hobby, and to improve upon my talents.
A rinky-dink storyline, in a sort-of noir fashion. Best grade in the class. Most inventive story. Voted Second in school art contest for Cartooning, along a very big cartoon poster I made, which got First in Catooning. The poster went on to get Second in the District art show. Made a 16-year old feel quite acomplished.
Anyways, it makes for a very good read, hope you enjoy.
