ABSOLUTE PROOF THAT I HAD THIS IDEA BEFORE ANYONE ELSE

The History of the Dustbunny

Now, I know what you may be thinking: "Why would you need proof to showcase your talent under the name "Dustbunny Pictures". The thing is there are other companies out there who may use a similar icon, or name, or character for their own financial gain, and before anyone starts slapping me with lawsuits for copyright infringement etc.etc. This particular Dustbunny that I've decided to use as a company mascot came from my own imagination and not from some TV show or other outside influence. Shows like "Hey, Vern, it's Ernest!" (1989) and more recently "The Big Comfy Couch"(1992) have used similar characters.

But here we go. Way back in 1987, when my talent wasn't as hot as it is now, I'd doodle little cartoons on the sides of my schoolwork, on little scraps of paper, whatever was handy, to the ire of my instructors. Some of these drawing from my youth have survived the test of time, and are still around, archived in folders.

It was whilst looking through some of these older drawings, I found a few old comics. One particular reoccurring serial was "The Adventures of Stickman and Dustbunny."

So by personal choice, and because my friends and family members considered him to be so cute, and because I used to draw him all the time, and still do as a "calling card" of sorts ever since, (often hidden in plain sight), I've revived the little bugger as my mascot. And it just feels right. So now I hope you understand a bit better.
